Party on Friday and Saturday and repent in the city’s LGBT megachurch, the Cathedral of Hope, on Sunday. No matter what scene, type or fetish you’re into, you can find it in Dallas. There are light rail lines, bike/walking paths, buses, a trolley system and seven interstate systems serving the metropolitan area. For those of you who like it hot, Big D is the city for you! Dallas, like most major cities in the United States, offers a variety of transportation options. Winters tend to be mild, with normal daytime highs ranging from mid 50s-70s. Temperatures can reach into the triple digits.
In the summer, Dallas tends to be warm and dry. In fact, there are several gay bars and clubs all within walking distance of the Cedar Springs strip. A lot of gay/lesbian bars are found in the Oak Lawn neighborhood, but many are peppered throughout the city. Dallas boasts two thriving LGBT neighborhoods, both just minutes from Downtown. More than just steers and queers, Gay Dallas is a thriving cosmopolitan city with wonderful museums, culture and beautiful men and women.
